The Green Network leads education for sustainability on the agenda of theeducation systems in Israel. We work in fruitful cooperation with government ministries, with local authorities and with educational institutions, youth and community in all populations and societies in the country. Our goal is to provide inspiration and vision, pedagogical and practical knowledge and tools that will lead educators and community to act within themselves and become agents of change and social and environmental activists. The curricula and pedagogical models we have developed encourage independent learning and research, critical thinking and action and evoke a sense of involvement, initiative and responsibility for the community, the state and the world. The Green Network is a member of Life and the Environment , the umbrella organization of environmental organizations in Israel, and a partner in the forum of CEOs of environmental education organization.
